FINANCE

The Finance and Administration department of Samajik Seba Shonghothon plays a vital role in the effective operation of the organization. They are responsible for managing the financial resources of the organization, ensuring financial accountability, and providing accurate and timely financial reports. The department has many responsibilities, including budgeting and financial planning, financial record-keeping, financial reporting, grant management, audit and compliance, payroll and benefits, financial analysis, and risk management. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the accounts department helps to ensure the financial sustainability and success of Samajik Seba Shonghothon.

The Finance and Administration department department of Samajik Seba Shonghothon is responsible for managing the financial resources of the organization, ensuring financial accountability, and providing accurate and timely financial reports. The department plays a vital role in the effective operation of the organization and is responsible for various tasks and responsibilities as follows:

  1. Budgeting and Financial Planning: The Finance and Administration department department is responsible for developing, monitoring, and reviewing the annual budget and financial plans of the organization. This includes forecasting revenue and expenses, identifying funding sources, and managing cash flow to ensure the organization’s financial sustainability.
  1. Financial Record-Keeping: The Finance and Administration department department is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements. They must ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, classified, and reconciled to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
  1. Financial Reporting: Our Finance and Administration department department is responsible for producing regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports provide insight into the organization’s financial health and help stakeholders understand the financial performance of Samajik Seba Shonghothon.
  1. Grant Management: Whenever the organization receives funds, grants, and donations, the accounts department is responsible for managing these grants, including financial reporting, compliance with grant requirements, and ensuring that grants, and funds are spent in accordance with the grant agreement.
  1. Audit and Compliance: The Finance and Administration department department is responsible for preparing for annual audits and ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements. They must ensure that the organization’s financial statements are accurate and complete and that all financial transactions are properly documented.
  1. Payroll and Benefits: The Finance and Administration department department is responsible for managing the payroll and benefits of the organization’s employees, ensuring that employees are paid on time and that all tax and benefit payments are made accurately and on time.
  1. Financial Analysis:The Finance and Administration department department is responsible for analyzing the financial performance of the organization and identifying areas for improvement. They must use financial analysis to identify trends, forecast future financial performance, and make strategic financial decisions.
  1. Risk Management: The Finance and Administration department department is responsible for identifying and managing financial risks for the organization, including credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk. They must develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to minimize the organization’s exposure to financial risks.

Introduction:

Samajik Seba Shonghothon continues to strive to continuously improve the program operations coordination with mainstream development national and international circles over time.

It’s a microfinance institute. For proper management of its overall program operation, conducting a special program is an imperative phenomenon. Being a tool to achieve overall mobility to make its administrative activities more transparent and accountable. So that every level and stage fast instant and accurate decision has to be reachable. These important functions are performed by the administrative department.

 

Administrative Structure:

 The structural arrangement of Samajik Seba Shonghothon is given below:

 

  • A General Assembly/Committee consisting of 11 members.
  • An executive council /Committee consisting of seven members.

 Current standard of the offices is as follows:

  2. Zonal Office 
  3. Area Office
  4. Branch Office

 The different departments of the organization are as follows:

  2.  Finance and Accounts (F&A)
  3.  Training and Capacity Building T&CB)
  4.  Internal Audit (IA)
  5. Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
  6.  Human Resource Management (HRM)
  7.  Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)
  8.  Research and Development (R&D)
  9.  Disaster Management and Environment (DM&E)

 All employees of the organization are connected with the work of the Administration Department.  To move the organization forward in a transparent and smooth manner, with efficiency and expertise hands of the administration department working relentlessly.

Administration department supports all other departments in addition to their own work.

To achieve goals and objectives of the organization the administration department is working with great efficiency and dedication.
