In commemorating Independence Day 2024, our organization reverently honors the profound sacrifices made by the valiant freedom fighters who selflessly dedicated their blood and lives to secure our liberation from colonial rule in 1971. Their unwavering courage and steadfast resolve serve as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come, reminding us of the indomitable spirit that propels nations towards freedom and self-determination. As we reflect on this pivotal moment in our history, we reaffirm our commitment to upholding the principles of democracy, equality, and justice that those brave souls fought so tirelessly to uphold.

The three-day tour at Cox’s Bazar, Moheshkhali, Himchori, Inani Beach, and surroundings from February 21st to 23rd, 2024, was an incredibly joyful experience beyond words. Led by the esteemed founder and Executive Director of Samajik Seba Shonghothon, Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir, our team embarked on a journey filled with exploration and camaraderie. Each moment was infused with excitement and wonder as we explored the beauty of these locations. From the serene beaches to the picturesque landscapes, every sight was a testament to the splendor of nature. We’re Saddened!

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Haji Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, the former president of the EC Committee and a cherished member of Samajik Seba Shonghothon (Innanillahe Wainnailaihe Rajeun). His unwavering dedication and contributions to our organization will forever be remembered. Mr. Rahman, aged 72, peacefully left us due to old age on the 17th December 2023.

Samajik Seba Shonghothon extends heartfelt condolences to his grieving family during this difficult time. His bequest of service will be dearly missed.

Congratulations on the 52nd Victory Day of Bangladesh! The jubilant celebration, marked by the active participation of Samajik Seba Shonghothon, resonated with profound inspiration. Under the esteemed leadership of the honorable founder and Executive Director, Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir, the festivities were infused with a sense of gravity and significance. On October 19, 2021, a pivotal exchange of ideas transpired between high-ranking officials of the Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and the top management of Samajik Seba Shonghothon. Representing PKSF, the esteemed Deputy Managing Director, Dr. Tapas Kumar Biswas, accompanied by Mr. Humayun Kabir and Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, contributed to the dynamic discussions. On the other side, strongly represented the honorable founder and Executive Director, Md. Mozammel Hosain Talukder, leading alongside the board of directors, Area Managers, audit professionals, and the president of the EC committee, Mr. Safiqul Islam Khan. On December 5, 2023, a distinguished invitation program unfolded as the Senior Vice President and Head of the SME Division at One Bank Limited, Dhaka, extended an invitation to our esteemed authority, the honorable founder and Executive Director of Samajik Seba Shonghothon, Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir. In response, he and his board of directors attended the event, marking a collaborative engagement between organizations. This gathering served as a platform for fostering connections and partnerships, showcasing the shared commitment to social welfare and collaborative efforts for the betterment of the community.

This afternoon marked a significant environmental initiative by Sabuj Prithibi and that’s sponsored by Samajik Seba Shonghothon to start a tree plantation event spanning from Karatia Bypass to Atia. The collaborative effort aimed at fostering a greener world was met with gratitude from Sabuj Prithibi, extending appreciation to the esteemed founder and Executive Director of Samajik Seba Shonghothon Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir, for his pivotal role in making the event a reality.

On December 9, 2023, our organization Samajik Seba Shonghothon actively participated in an impactful program commemorating World Anti-Corruption Day. The event served as a poignant reminder of the collective commitment to combat corruption globally. Through various activities and awareness initiatives, our organization contributed to fostering a culture of transparency and integrity. It was a day of reflection and action, as we joined hands with the international community to address the challenges posed by corruption. By actively engaging in this important cause, we demonstrated our unwavering dedication to building a fair and just society, free from the corrosive effects of corruption.

Exploring the iconic landmarks of New Delhi, including Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, and Humayun’s Tomb, was a captivating journey through India’s rich history and culture. Each site unveiled the city’s profound heritage and architectural marvels, weaving together a vivid tapestry of historical wonders. The experience extended beyond Delhi, encompassing the enchanting cities of Agra and Rajasthan, adding layers to our exploration of India’s fascinating past. This journey of discovery was made possible and inspired by the honorable founder and Executive Director of Samajik Seba Shonghothon, Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir. His vision and passion for heritage preservation and cultural exploration infused our travels with deeper meaning and appreciation. Through these experiences, we gained a profound insight into the diverse and vibrant history of India, leaving us enriched and inspired by its enduring legacy.

On October 27, 2023, an impactful Eye Camping program unfolded, offering free eye examinations and cataract surgeries. Our dedicated team of doctors examined 196 patients, identifying 98 individuals in need of free cataract surgery. The event garnered the presence of the board of directors, and we were honored by the esteemed participation of the founder and Executive Director of Samajik Seba Shonghothon, Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir. His presence underscored the organization’s commitment to addressing healthcare needs, particularly in the realm of eye care, and highlighted a collective effort towards ensuring a brighter and clearer future for those in our community.

On August 15, 2023, our beloved organization, Samajik Seba Shonghothon, observed National Mourning Day with profound solemnity and reverence. This day holds immense significance as it commemorates the solemn occasion of the passing of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and his family members. The organization engaged in a series of activities, including tributes, remembrance ceremonies, and initiatives that reflected the gravity of the day. This observance underscored our collective commitment to honoring the legacy of Bangabandhu and preserving the values he stood for, fostering a sense of national unity and reverence within our community. On this day we organized a rally.

On March 06, 2023, a pivotal event unfolded in Tangail District, as the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) orchestrated a forum for sharing and exchanging ideas within the microcredit sector. Attended by the top management of 102 NGOs in Tangail District, the gathering took place at the esteemed venue of the Society for Social Service (SSS). The highlight of the occasion was a precious speech delivered by the distinguished Executive Director of Samajik Seba Shonghothon, Md. Mozammel Hossain Talukder Sir. His insights and perspectives added significant value to the discourse, reflecting the commitment of key stakeholders towards advancing the microcredit sector and promoting social development in the region.

On November 30, 2023, a remarkable initiative unfolded along the Karatia bypass to Atia, spanning 4.06 kilometers stretch of roadway. The event, orchestrated by Sabuj Prithibi, showcased an impressive program focused on sapling plantation. Diverse varieties of saplings, including fruit-bearing and timber trees, were meticulously planted, contributing to the region’s environmental well-being. This laudable effort was made possible through the generous financial support extended by Samajik Seba Shonghothon. The collaborative endeavor not only embellished the landscape with a myriad of trees but also symbolized a collective commitment to fostering a greener and more sustainable future for the community.

On November 17, 2022, our organization achieved a momentous milestone with the launch of its inaugural, that’s first formal training program. The distinguished presence of Additional Director of Finance and Administration department, Md. Rezaul Karim, and Assistant Director-Training Kamal Ahmed added significance to the occasion. This event symbolized a crucial stride in bolstering the skills and knowledge of our workforce, showcasing our unwavering dedication to continuous improvement. As we embarked on this transformative journey, the commitment to nurturing and elevating our team’s capabilities became evident, setting the stage for a more empowered and proficient organizational future.

On January 30, 2023, the arrival of the esteemed General Manager (Program) & PC, BD Rural WASH, a distinguished PKSF professional, marked a momentous occasion at our head office for the HCD project. The event, expertly orchestrated, was under the capable leadership of our esteemed Executive Director, Md. Mopzammel Hossain Talukder Sir. His exceptional talents and unwavering commitment were evident as he guided the proceedings, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and collaboration. The presence of such high-ranking individuals underscored the significance of the HCD project and showcased the dedication of our organization, Samajik Seba Shonghothon, in fostering positive change.
